Caryn Shipp

Performer, Media producer and event co-ordinator, dancer, teacher and choreographer. Radio and TV producer, spruiker, etc. Caryn joined the ABC TV & Radio in 1978 which lead her to 2JJJ:FM, Australia’s National youth radio network (1982-88). Caryn is a professional entertainer, working with many major Australian choreographers, teaching jazz and contemporary dance. World travelled, she has worked in most areas of the entertainment industry in Australia, Thailand, U.S.A and Mexico, living amongst cultures in Asia and South America. Whilst travelling alone, her dreams were like signposts of symbols and messages. She returned to Australia to teach, perform and choreograph, working especially at the Aboriginal Dance Theatre Redfern, Australia. She was impelled to record and decipher her dreams and their symbols as she took their message more seriously in the teens and twenties, attending a dream seminar by Denise Lynn in the mid 1980s and studying Man and his Symbols, (C.Jung). Known amongst her family and friends for being a dream seer, she kept it separate from her daily pursuits. Caryn's inner passion for dream interpretation and very few degrees of separation between, led her to Quentin Watts and to the belief in her ability to bring it all into focus.
