Susan (December 2000 - February 20001)
Dream: I'd like to submit this dream for 'dream of the month'. It had something to do with two girls having been murdered somewhere on a mountain - snow covered. Then I had a flash of an image of figures in black cloaks cutting off the top of the heads (the crown) of people wearing brown 'monks' robes and then nailing them to crosses (crucifying them). Then I had a vision of the man's face who killed the two girls - like a hypnogogic image. Then I actually saw him (not someone I actually know in waking life). Then I'm in my bedroom. Someone had brought a dog around. Myself and someone else in bed and the dog 'Rufus' kept lying on the bed. I think now the man (the murderer) was at my door. I was 'told' that that was why 'Rufus' was there - to protect me. I told the man that I was now on to him, I knew what he had done and that I could actually see how he'd enticed the two girls to the mountain. Then, somehow, the whole story turned into a film with Kevin Spacey playing the murderer with me tracking him down.
Quentin's Diagnosis: Dear Susan, Your dream has a medieval overtone and we feel that in a past life, you were a victim and may have been one of those girls. The vision of a man you saw does relate back to this past life experience. Then youšre in the bedroom. The dog is a symbol of your male self or Anima. You need to take on that male side of yourself to protect your spirit. As a woman in this life, you wonšt be a victim again. Draw on your past life experience to empower you. The reason it turns into a movie is saying not to get involved by it, see it as a movie. It ain't going to happen again. I will not be a victim again.
